Watercolor April Bullet Journal

Bullet Journaling is a relaxing and fun way to keep all your thoughts in one place and make sure you get your “to dos” done!

Spring is just around the corner and I could use a bit of sunshine right now! But I’m not sure how much of that I’m going to be able to get with the saying of “April Showers”. I can dream though. And I am very much looking forward to a better upcoming month!

In hopes that I can bring some sunshine, April is a mixture of orange and yellow! Which is a shift from March’s full orange style. Yes, I am making my way through the rainbow! Stick around to see all the colors!

The splotch is made through the watercolor transfer technique I have been using. I painted a combination of orange and yellow watercolor onto a plastic surface and then flipped it onto the paper. Too much water was added to this transfer so I got one giant blob instead of the blotchy effect that I normally attempt for.

I known I have been sticking with the henna style design work for the drawing styles but I wanted to switch it up a little bit for this month. Mainly because the giant blob didn’t really work with some of the ideas I had. So I went with a sketchy style circle and floral accents!

Check out the Craft section of MCG for other bullet journal designs or more unlimited ideas. Leave a comment below and let me know what you think and what you do with your journal!

I’m looking forward to some of the holidays this month! A few I want to highlight are:

  • 1st – National Fun Day
  • 2nd – National DIY Day
  • 5th – National Deep Dish Pizza Day
  • 6th – National Burrito Day
  • 7th – Good Friday
  • 9th – Easter
  • 18th – Tax Day
  • 22nd – Earth Day
  • 23rd – World Book Day
  • 26th – National Pretzel Day
  • 27th – World Design Day
