A Bullet Journal is a great way to keep your life in one place and have notes on what you need to do while being creative!
I cannot believe we are already halfway through the year. This just seems crazy to me how time can pass so quickly. Something I feel like I am reminded of every month when I write one of these posts. Time is especially harsh right now so taking about the passage of time is a little difficult. Especially when you don’t want it to pass.
Shaking that off, I decided to go with a camping motif for July because I feel like camping is another staple of summer. Not always of my summers but of the season in general. I like the idea of camping more than camping. But it has been a while so I wouldn’t mind giving it another chance. So long as I can figure out how to make bugs dislike me.

July
This month, I wanted to play more with stickers, so I designed and cut out some stickers to place on my cover page. It’s a simple but effective method. I went with a mountain and a treescape horizon (with a tent!) under the night sky. I adore how the trees look.
I struggled with the stars. It was my first time using holographic sticker paper and I think I still need more time to get the hang of it. I printed out more stars after the video on silver acrylic sticker paper. The holographic paper lends itself better to larger projects.
July Habits and Calendar
Deciding what stickers to carry over from the main page was definitely a challenge. The mountain felt too big, the stars felt too small. But eventually I did lean into the stars. But not before I put more of the tree line in the center of my habit circle and along the bottom of my calendar. It just looked too good not to use more of.
Last Month’s Habits
This article is coming out a little earlier than at the beginning of the month. Which is what I would typically prefer. So, I still have some days to brush up and get more of those habits done. I do feel like June was a better month than May but, as always, there is room for improvement. Which is good. I always want the opportunity to grow.
Why Pages Curl
I have noticed that certain mediums, or an excessive amount of writing, can cause a page to curl. And my question is why? Well, the answer has to do with humidity. When there is an imbalance of humidity in the page. Heat is also another factor that can cause paper to curl. A lot of media will introduce water into the pages which will, in turn, increase the humidity of the paper. And that’s how we get curls. Luckily, keeping the pages between flat surfaces does help smooth them out.
