Cornbread Bites

Cornbread is the perfect side dish for any meal. Making classic American? Use cornbread. Making Indian? Use cornbread. These fluffy and light bites are perfect for any meal and any time of day.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ Cup Butter melted
  • 1 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup Yellow Cornmeal
  • 2 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • ½ Tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ Tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • ½ Cup Yogurt
  • 2 Eggs

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven 400 °F
  2. Combine Flour, Cornmeal, Sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixer bowl.
  3. Combine butter, milk, yogurt and eggs in a separate bowl.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until combined (just until the ingredients are moistened).
  5. Portion out into desired tray.
  6. Bake for 10 – 15 minutes or until a wood toothpick comes out clean.
