A Bullet Journal is a great way to organize your life, keep notes on what you need to do, and organize your hopes /dreams while being creative!
I am so excited for Spring. March always feels like a good spring beginning. This feels especially true after a nightmare of a February. We got a cold front early in the month and I was so cold. I would start crying while walking from the office to my car due to the cold. That was wild.
But! The weather has warmed up, the snow is almost gone and I am ready to welcome March (and hopefully spring). In this spirit, I decided to go with a very floral / nature-centered theme. One – because it’s pretty, and two – a bit of an aspiration to help spring come along a little faster. I know I have no control but I still dream.

march
Since I did the top left corner for January and the bottom right corner for February, I decided to use the bottom left corner for the March title. I also decided to do something a little different and put the habit tracker with the title instead of the calendar. The fit was almost too perfect.
There were a few lines left over between the chart and the top of the page as well as the chart and the title. It was almost too snug! I did get slightly paranoid since I missed a day on the February habit tracker. So before committing to the closed box, I put the days and dates next to their respective line. This way I know I didn’t make the box too small for all the days.
The right page was dedicated to the calendar. I tried to align the top of the calendar with the top of the habit tracker for a cleaner look. The calendar ended up being aligned left as well. I felt centering it would feel weird with large amounts of space next to it, but aligning left meant I could put events to the right.
Or, that would have been the case if I hadn’t decided to go a little wild with the decorations. I was split between putting in flowers and vines. I didn’t have a method to my madness when it came to placement. Just picked places and hoped it looked good in those spaces.
How did last month’s HABIT TRACKER go?
I made the habit side of the tracker 11 spaces wide and filled in the images for the standard habits that I do. On the right, I did the general trackers including mood, forest, temperature, weather, and water. Last month, I tried to spread weather over the whole 10 values instead of the 4 values I did in January. I think this was a mistake. So, this month I went back to having just the bottom four values correspond to the core 4 weather types.
RANDOM PAGE HIGHLIGHT: quotes
Some quotes just resonate with people. One of my favorites has always been the opening lyrics to the Firefly theme song. I believe I have put this exact layout in every bullet journal I have had for the past decade. And sometimes, just taking a moment to dedicate a page to a quote and drawing is a fun way to let loose and give yourself a great reminder.
