Method
- Preheat oven to 225° Fahrenheit.
- Cut each apple into slices that each have an approximately ⅛ inch thickness. Remove seeds, stalks, and calyx of each apple.
- Lay each slice flat on a tray. Sprinkle with cinnamon (and salt, if desired).
- Bake for 2 to 2 ½ hours. All moisture should be removed the apples, they should be crisp to the touch and browned around the edges.
