Homemade Baked Donuts

These donuts are absolutely delicious with a sweet and light flavor and texture!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 ½ Cups Sugar
  • 2 Tsp Baking Powder
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 Egg
  • 1 ¼ Cup Milk
  • 2 Tbsp Unsalted Butter melted
  • Additional Flavors (See Notes)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Sift all of the dry ingredients together (flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and any dry flavors) until well combined.
  3. Whisk the remaining ingredients together in a separate bowl (egg, milk butter, any extracts)
  4. Combine the dry and wet mixture
  5. Using a piping bag (a spoon will work too), fill the pan about 3/4 full in each mold
  6. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes or until golden. Let cool for 5 minutes
  7. Enjoy!!

Notes

Flavor Combinations
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tsp. orange extract, 2 tsp. lemon zest
  • 2 tsp. vanilla, 3 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2. tsp. ginger
  • 2 tsp. lemon extract, 2 tsp. lemon zest
