Stovetop Rice Pudding

Rice Pudding is an easy and lovely treat with a easily modified taste and a creamy texture. This desert can work for about any occasion and can be varied to anyone’s personal taste!

Ingredients
  

  • 5 ½ Cups Whole Milk
  • ½ Tsp Salt
  • ½ Cup Rice Heaping measurement
  • ¼ Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla

Method
 

  1. Mix together salt and milk and bring to a boil over medium to high heat.
  2. Reduce heat to low and add rice.
  3. Allow mixture to thicken, stirring occasionally. Mixture should have a yogurt like consistency
  4. Add sugar and stir until sugar is dissolved into the mixture
  5. Remove from heat. Add vanilla.
  6. Allow to rest in the fridge.
  7. Add and desired toppings and enjoy!
