Join me as I look back on some of my favorite / some of the best crafts of 2025.
Continuing with my review of 2025, I decided to just pick some crafts that really stood out to me. There were a lot of good crafts this year, but some turned out better than others. And I got to try out a lot of different crafting methods this year so there is a wide variety of gems.

This Amigurumi plant has been a constant companion since the day it was finished. The little yarn plant sits atop my work desk as a great reminder that I do not have to be perfect every day. It’s a reminder I need.
Arkham Horror Magnets
These small magnets have such a fun vibe. The Arkham Horror symbol style is just a cool aesthetic. And having them scattered around the house is just a fun reminder of the eldritch presence.
Casting Resin
Casting Resin was a new medium that I completely fell in love with. More than anything, I like the gem edged pieces that I have been able to make. They are beautifully shiny with a jagged edge making each piece its own unique design.
Divided Bag
I have used this bag way more than I have some of my other crafts. The ability to easily store my controller, my switch charging cord (and the big box attached to it), and the cord needed to use an HDMI directly with the switch. The different pockets help keep everything from getting tangled and easily accessible during travel.
Misery
Misery was one of the most unexpected crafts of the year. Needle feeling is a craft that I have not really delved into. But something compelled me. I really wanted a little Misery. She is one of my favorite characters but it’s a show that has fallen out of the light and had little merchandise to begin with.
Paper Board Game Organizer
I love board games. There is no denying that. But I often find myself looking for the right organizer when sorting through components of a new (or old) game. I was very happy to put my crafting mind to the problem and solving it with an everyday item: paper! While I used it for games, I feel like paper organizers could come in handy when it comes to organizing many places.
Rainbow Charm
Working with small materials is always a challenge. And this rainbow charm was no different. I decided to make a rainbow charm row by row working my way from the top down. Each row called for attaching to the previous row and changing size to keep the shape. It was a dexterous challenge.
Resin Ghost
The last craft on this trip down memory lane is the resin epoxy ghost. This little guy was a beast and a half to make. While the body often got a smooth finish, the hat needs a lot of manipulation to properly fill out. And finding the right paint marker to ensure that cute face was perfect.
